Sobre o que é Hidamari Sketch?
Hidamari Sketch conta a história de uma jovem garota chamada Yuno, que finalmente é aceita na escola de arte Yamabuki, que ela desejava. Para freqüentar a escola, Yuno se muda e começa a viver em um pequeno apartamento em um prédio chamado Hidamari, localizado perto da escola. Uma vez lá, ela começa a fazer novos amigos, como sua colega de classe Miyako e as alunas do segundo ano, Hiro e Sae. Os acontecimentos da vida dos personagens são mostrados todos os dias em que freqüentam a escola em conjunto e conhecem melhor uns aos outros.

New Years Eve is here and this time all the girls will be spending it at Hidamari Apartments. Whilst Sae and Hiro are at a study session, the rest of the girls clean up and prepare for festivities later. Later, after the bells chime in the New Year, the girls all visit the shrine, where they meet other friends and acquaintances. After watching the sunrise together, the girls then return home to sleep and contemplate the coming year.
